They've forced me to go to Chrome with this issue. I now have a browser installed that is dedicated to one website - sorry, website group? I'm not happy with this. Couple that with the fact that attempting to use these sites on my mobile (my only source of internet apart from my work desktop) and its becoming more and more clear that I won't be able to participate here for much longer.

What are you using instead of chrome?

I was using IE11. This issue appeared on IE, so I have switched.
